Hi,
I tried to use setool to change my W900 into Chinese. On Setools latest update it states it fully support W900 so I tried.

Flashed in with TW version files and the phones says configuration error please check with your network provider. I then used "Unlock" function and it killed my phone.

Is there anyway I can bring my phone back to life? Setool's forum is down and I really really need someone's help.

No...I was not aware of the option.
Looks like there are other people have their phone killed by setool.
Maybe Laser shut down the forum because too many people had the problem. Now i don't know what to do with a $600 dead phone. ....

Flash again with "Complete Phone" option selected.

Try this way:

1. click "Setting" tab, and tick "Complete Phone", this option at first line.

2. click "SonyEricsson" tab, select "W900" at Phone Type drag list.

3. click "clear names" button, and click "Flash" button, wait for done, deattach the phone.

now, power your phone, maybe the "Please Wait" progress bar is idle, look like hang, dont worry about that, just wait for mins, after that Configure Error message is gone.

Thank you so much. I reflashed the phone and finally bring the phone back to life. However, the phone appears to be locked, what did you do to unlock it? Do you use the unlock function? Thtas what killed my phone in the first place.

I don't use setool, because I choose cruiser, maybe I like it cheap! but also like stable.

setool fully support CID49 none TP? I don't think so
