Hi everyone please help me out, recently i bought a cell phone from HK yahoo auction and they are sending me the phone to US now, but without unlock. I just wonder do i need to unlock it to be used in US? i am not living in HK now. The one I bought is Japanese version =o

Yes, you need to get it unlocked before you can use it in USA.

Why not ask the seller to get it unlocked before sending it to you? Because Hong Kong is the only place at this moment can unlock this phone

to the delight i just found out there is oversea unlocking service from this forum? Hope it will be fast and great. Seems like no one beside me posting on that oversea session, maybe i will be the first customer??? lol, hope will get discount because of that ^^

So the unlock service include what now? enable to use,mp3, something like bt, bluetooth fixing? wow, these are complicated, I wish i didn't immigrate to US before, seems like people staying in HK are more clever.....(well, to be honest, these americans here are quite stupid...and backward life....) =:::(

Jerrykee is getting phones from overseas everyday, so you are not the first one or the only one

Unlocking is just unlocking the phone to use other sim cards (operators), nothing more and nothing less.

Bluetooth will be checked and make sure it is OK before returning to customers, so you don't have to worry about Bluetooth problem any more.

At this moment, nothing you can do to the MP3 ringtone, because the firmware itself is not supported.

I gave 902 to Jerrykee on 28 Apr and returned on next day. I asked him to check BT function. He said he haven't checked, find him if BT does not work. After day, the problem is coming. Finally I paid $150 to him for repair... why?

2 points:

1) BT checking is a bonus, not a liability.

I did not pass the BT solution to Jerrykee until 30 April, so nothing he can do until he got the solution from me.

I know you are the first one to slove BT problem. But JerryKee said he can repair on 29 April ma.... su la--- everything gone

1) "BT will be checked" is recent improvement in customer service from Jerrykee. I gave my suggestion to him that as part of customer service, better check and repair all BT problem before returning the phone to customers. You can see there is no more people crying for BT problem

2) Yes, the first post was on 27th, but if you read the whole thread, can you see I have to collect enough sample to make sure the solution is working?

I feel sorry to your case, but this is what I called ........... life

i am getting a 902 from jpn auction. is there anyway to unlock mp3 yet?

MP3 is not locked, but not supported in 902sh!

If it is not locked, how can it be unlocked?
