If I buy the "Cruiser 4-in-1 cable" to unlock SX813 to unlock the phone, will it has chance to make the phone dead? Thanks. As I saw many post that flash the phone will make the phone dead.

Unlocking and flashing are 2 difference things!

Yes, of course! Even you insert the battery into the phone, you will have the chance to kill it. So, if you can't take the risk, don't try it! BTW, I have just killed a brand new W900i by using Test Point to unlock it.

But, from my own experience, I've never kill a Sharp phone by pressing the "Unlock" button.
