I've got my Yellow TX60 yesterday.... love it.... Just one thing is bothering me....... Not sure what have I done wrong....

I've copied & B/T all the entries from SIM & another phone to TX60. Setup caller profile(ringtone, pic & caller group.... etc) for most of my entries on the TX60. However, for some reasons, whenever there's an incoming call to my TX60, it ONLY shows the name & phone# from the SIM(not from the phone directory), therefore it has no pic caller id & doesn't play the ringtones that I've set under each entry(on TX60), it plays the default ringtone under the profile.... It only reads entries from the SIM???......

But when I go to the phone directory, it shows the caller profile was setup properly???

On the 903sh, it allows you to read only phone OR SIM entries, is there such a thing on the TX60??? It shows entries on the phone 1st, followed by entries on the sim???

Anyone had the same problems????

I have a good news to tell u!
Your phone is work well, it just the firmware problem!
The phone is so stupid that can only identify the profile and have special assigned pics& ring tone when the contact only in phone memory.
So, if u want to display the profile pics & rings pls delete the entry on the sims

Thx for the reply.... Not sure if it was the f/w or the way it was listed on the phonebook in the TX60...

I've kept trying & trying in the last 3 hrs after sending my last note to U.... Not sure if this is why...... Originally when I copied from SIM to the TX60... All names were copied to the 'Last name' field on the phone, so whenever there was an incoming call, if the same entries were stored on the sim & on the phone under 'last name', it reads the sim info instead of the phone(by default??, kinda stupid on that)... that's why it didn't display the pic caller id & the rigntones that it was assigned to the specific caller.... I've played around w/ it for 3 hrs & kinda get it worked now.....

In order for the phone to display info stored on the TX60. I had to change the name info from 'Last name; to 'First name' field, I've only tested for 3 of the entries I've stored, and it worked... It displays the proper pic caller id that was assigned to... It rings the specific ringtones that it assigned to......

Think that's how it's supposed to work..... I'll have to test it again when I get home in an hour or two....

BTW, was there another f/w released by SMV for TX60???
