I found mtty.com..but don't want to risk bricking my phone. I can still flash the rom by downgrading the Bootloader to 1.04

Just wondereing...if I use the South Africa ROM..will I be able to access 3 HK's 3G streaming service??

I think may be not OK...

請問如何check 機內的bootloader ver..另外新一批x01ht的bootloader1.09是不是不能unlock呢?

Put your phone in Flash mode. by

pressing keys <ok> + <power> and use the stylus to press the <reset>
U will see SPL-1.06 on the upper left corner if the bootloader is 1.06

Why do you want to change the IMEI of your phone..I am not an expert on this but I believe what you need to change is the CID of your phone..the CID reports your phone model to the network..if your phone is not supported..you cannot access the content.. Since 3 does not sell your phone model...i don't know how U can change the CID to one that they sell.....maybe Kenny can explain it better

2) 用 phone ID + IMEI 去 check 而不是 CID

3) 你一 login 個 portal, 會自動記錄你個 phone ID & IMEI, 而 3HK 個 network enginner 會查番個 IMEI 是那一款機而決定以後會唔會 support! 咁佢地唔賣 838pro 為例, 當然唔 support!

4) 每款手機, 每個 model 個 IMEI 是有獨有組合
