You over-estimate the quality of apple CS.
Even you asked for exchange, you have to queue for at least 2 weeks. It's still possible for ipod but it's not the case for iphone.
unless your ipod/iphone is an outdated model, they won't have stock in hand immediately.
In addition, the so-called "new" is just a refurbished handset. That means, they made of brand new parts and used parts.
Sometimes, be fair. I know you hate sin tat so much but it doesn't mean ALL of them are bastrads. Also, as an Apple user (MBP, iPod and iTouch) I don't see Apple provides superior CS in Hong Kong. At least, the so-called service provideer (CASE) is a PROXY only.
