PCCW 3G......Best choice......Good ar....many multimedia content, like NowTV, MOOV, TVB NEWS.....etc. Reception also good.
Don't think about 3-3G, really bad......
CSL( 1010 ).....no lar, except you have too much money and you feel like very superior on using 1010. if you want to use CSL, turn to one2free lar, much cheaper, but same network, why pay more ?
The 3G content of CSL is not as good as PCCW.
One more thing, Telstra seems like not willing to invest on CSL......
Spadau, why you said 3-3G bad? Reception signal or their services?
The good thing of PCCW may be: they are cheaper (relatively) and most of the 非主流 mobile phones were supported by their web portal. (ZTC, or even Japanese 3G phones)
I used before : SMV - expensive, 1010 - expensive, one2free- cheaper but I have no comments on their services and signal were no difference to me. i.e. I have no complaints on voice calls. I have seldomly used their multimedia contents as they are not free and very limited.
3-3G- I have been using for two years. Tarrif was reduced to $80 per month at their $123 plan. I have no complaint at all. Their free contents are updated regularly (30 MMS or multimedia streaming/downloading free per month) Some selective free news pages and more important, they have free Guruflash, a kind of MSN group forum - totally free of charge forever. Good for younysters communication.
No additional charge, only $80 flat, may be someone still find this two expensive.... (Corporate account users can be as cheap as $54 per month, as I know)
My relative used PCCW one and a half year before, very poor signal indoors, even at Shamsuipo/ TsunWan, etc. Of course, may be now it is improved. It really depends on where you stay most. Your living area is more important.
My contract with 3-3G is ending in second half year. See how good or bad between PCCW and 3-3G.
