I don't know which to unlock.
I want to do streaming so I want to flash either Taiwanese or SX833 firmware. I don't want wrong menus but I also don't like the indicators from SX833 (V902 style)
I think the same as u before. But after comparing and consideration, i also change to hk version finally. to me, the reasones are:
1. hk version is more stable and definitely has less problem than the tw version.
2. of course if i can, i want a japanese version with full unlock, chinese, mp3 function. but i think it is far from perfect that will happened. so u have to consider your second most important needs. i dont like the red bar too but honestly, this is just fancy things. reliability of a phone with most important functions working properly may be the most vital.
3. taiwan version has many many implicit problems as the firmware ( i learnt) is 902 plus some hk version plus some euro version. imagine how can it be stable as a good phone.
i bought my phone in 鐳射 and they have a discounted chinese upgrade with a sin tat shop. i went to that shop and yes, it is discounted with only hkd 200 only. but he said only taiwan version and he dare cheats to say that only taiwan version is available everywhere. so i dont think they are honest and so i dare to pay 450 to change it in JK. after i unlock the hk version, everything works well and imagine, it seems it just like u buy a black 833 hong goods with full function used. i therefore highlight recommend all to forget about the taiwan version and hk version will be the optimal choice.
